| Kristy Warneke |  | Lead Teacher. Kristy Warneke is very excited about returning as our head preschool teacher this year. Kristy graduated from University of the Pacific and has taken Masters Classes in CA and at PSU. She has a broad base in education including teaching in several preschool programs in Columbia County and working with the Scappoose middle school band program. Kristy’s experience and outstanding musical facility with guitar, flute and teaching children through music are great assets for our preschool. Kristy has been a member of Grace Lutheran Church for over 20 years and lives in Scappoose with her husband Doug and grown sons Ken and Scott. |
| Clairissa Williams |  | Assistant Teacher. Clairissa Williams is very excited to be a part of Grace Christian Preschool this year. Clairissa is a 2008 graduate of Scappoose High School and is attending PCC this fall. She is planning on transferring to Portland State University where she will earn her degree in Elementary Education. Clairissa participated in preschool education class at the high school “Preschool Palace” program for three out of four of her high school years. She worked as a regular preschool assistant; teaching, disciplining and loving the children. She created and taught lesson plans, worked one on one with the preschoolers and helped in the classroom. Outside of school Clairissa enjoys camping, family time and spending time with her horses. She is really looking forward to helping make your child’s preschool experience a great one! |
| Alison Jones |  | Assistant Teacher. Hi – I’m Alison Jones! I’ve lived in South Columbia County for most of my life and I’ve been happily married to my high school sweetheart for 16 years. We have two sons, ages 13 and 10. I enjoy scrap-booking, reading and bike rides with my family. I also enjoy helping kids and have spent many happy hours volunteering at Warren, Peterson and Scappoose Middle schools and working with the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and church youth programs. I am really looking forward to meeting each of you and helping to make your child’s preschool experience both educational and fun. |
